Pump tracks has become a success story around the world. A pump track can be used by riders of all ages. A well designed pump track is easy enough for beginners while still being challenging for a pro rider!
You race against the clock when you compete in pump track, simple as that! You compete individually in the qualification run and head-to-head racing in the finals. Still it is the fastest time that matters.
A race starts off with a qualification round (1 or 2 individual runs), where the top 4, 8 or 16 (depending on the size of class) moves on to the finals. In the finals it becomes head-to-head in 1/8s, 1/4, semifinals, B-finals until you have two riders left in the main event!
