The 2026 Pump Track World Youth Challenge is here and we are ready to race! We got over 160 riders are from 22 countries participating in Marma, Sweden!

EQUIPMENT & GENERAL RULES

EQUIPMENT

-Full face helmet mandatory

-Flat pedals, no clip shoes

-numberplate on handlebar

-Timing transponder on fork leg. Transponder MUST be returned after event (unless you have your own transponder).

-National jersey not mandatory

GENERAL RULES

FLYING START - Rider start in marked box, one foot on the ground one on the pedal. Pedaling is allowed on the track.

Timing starts and stops at the same position START/FINISH line, one full lap. DNF only if cutting the track (grass) and it is a clear advantage.

Riders must exit the track as soon as possible and in a safe way after crossing the finish line

Time/results will be announced by speaker and on scoreboard. You can aslo find live timing and startlists on Race-Hub.io on the link below

COMPETITION FORMAT

KIDS OPEN CLASS (6-7 years old)

Start in number order
2 timed run, 1 run for final
Run 1 - Start A (white box)
Run 2 - Start B (red box)
Time will be displayed on timing board and by announcer
No classification
All riders will receive a medal during pricegiving ceremony

ALL OTHER YOUTH CLASSES

QUALIFICATION

Timed run, 2 runs - best run/time counts.
1 run from Start A (white box) according to start list
1 run from Start B (red box) according to start list
2 riders on track during qualification run, riders start position will be given at RIDERS STAGING

TOP 16 Qualifies to 1/8 Finals in the following classes: Boys 12, Boys 13

TOP 8 Qualifies to 1/4 Finals in the following classes: Boys 9, Boys 10, Boys 11, Boys 14,

TOP 4 Qualifies to semfinals in the following classes: Girls 8, Boys 8, Girls 9, Girls 13, Girls 14, Girls 15, Girls 16

TOP 2 Qualfiies to Finals in the following classes: Girls 11, Girls 12,

FINALS

Qualified riders as per above (qualification)

Fastest rider in qualification select start position first throughout the finals (all rounds)

Top 3 riders goes to podium ceremony.

THE PUMP TRACK WORLD IS COMING TO MARMA!

The 2026 Pump Track World Youth Challenge is around the corner! With over 10 qualification event around the world in the books, we are expecting over 150 riders from 25 countries participating in Marma, Sweden! If you missed your country qualifier event or if you are from countries with no qualifier, it is not too late! Head over to the registration page and see if threre are any spots left!

Qualified riders must confirm their spot before July 27.
Unused spots will be released for the waiting list.

Unpaid entries must pay before August 3.
Unpaid spots will be released for the waiting list.

Note: FRANCE Qualifier on Aug 1 will have a deadline of Aug 3

EDDY CLERTE PUMP TRACK CLINIC!

THE EDDY IS BACK! The World Champion is coming to Marma, sign up now for an exclusive clinic with Eddy Clerte!

Leading up to the Pump Track World Youth Challenge and the finals of the Scandinavian Pump Track Series, Eddy Clerte will host an exclusive clinic over 2 days in Marma, Sweden, the 2025 Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Champion will host a number of clinics on the fast and technical Velosolutions pumptrack in Marma. Don´t miss out to fine tune your game before the events!

We will host two different training clinics with different age group and levels on August 12 and August 13. Clinics will be in hosted in english. Number of participants is limited to 18 per group.

CAMPING & LODGING

A limited number of camping spots are available right next to the pumptrack. Pre-booking is required on first come first serve basis.

No electricity available. Once those spots are taken there will be a possibility to book (pre-booking required) spots about 400 meters from the pumptrack. No electricity avaialbe. Shower and toilet (shared) available.

THE WORLD YOUTH CHALLENGE IS BACK!

The world of pump track heads to Marma, Sweden!

After the great success with the inagural Pump Track World Youth Challenge last year, we are pleased to announce that the youth only international pump track event are back and will take place August 15 in Marma, Sweden – on one of Scandinavia’s biggest Velosolutions pump tracks. Each country is eligible to bring 4 riders in each age group from 8 to 16 years old. A number of country qualifiers will decide who qualifies from those specific countries, rest of the world can sign up on first-come-first served basis. Registration to be open soon.

📍NEW ZEALAND – Waihi Qualifier February 27

📍SPAIN – Ainsa Qualifier May 5

📍CHINA – Shenyang Qualifier May 5

📍USA – Erie (CO) Qualifier May 9

📍SOUTH AFRICA – Pretoria Qualifier June 26

📍BELGIUM – Middelkerke Belgium Champs July 12

📍SWEDEN, NORWAY, FINLAND – Scandinavian Pump Track Series x 4 stops, June 21 to July 12

2025 - ONE FOR THE HISTORY BOOKS!

With over 150 riders from 22 countries, the ingural Pump Track World Youth Challenge in Ängelholm last year was nothing short of a huge success. It showcased that the pumptrack community is truly global and the level of young riders is truly amazing!

MEDAL TABLE 2025
China with its large team dominated many of the younger age classes, but countries like Sweden, Slovakia and Spain showed up and kept delivering great results and medals!

HOW TO SIGN UP AND REGISTER!

The event will host individual classes for girls and boys, between the age of 8 and 16 years of age. The event is open for all riders holding a UCI license, limited to 4 riders per country per age class (the birth year determines the age of the rider). The riders nationality determines the riders country eligibility.

SWEDEN, NORWAY, FINLAND
A rider from any of these countries, can qualify by attending the Scandinavian Pump Track Series. The top 4 riders (from each country) in each age group after 4 events (riders best 3 results of 4 counts) will qualify and be eligable to register.
Events; #1 Narvik June 21, #2 Kiruna June 24, #3 Ylläs June 28, #4 Strängnäs July 12
Classes: Boys/Girls from 10 to 16 yrs old.
Once qualified and confirmed, riders can register on the official website.
For age groups outside of the qualification events as well as non-filled quota, riders can also sign up on a first-come-first served basis on the official website.

NEW ZEALAND, SPAIN, CHINA, USA, SOUTH AFRICA and BELGIUM
Riders from these countries have the possibility to qualify through their country qualifier. For age groups outside of the qualification events as well as non-filled quota, riders can also sign up on a first-come-first served basis on the official website.

The quota is maximum 4 riders per age class for each country. Please check the official website for more information on country qualifiers.

REST OF THE WORLD
Riders from all other countries (and holds a UCI license) can register directly on the official website on a first-come-first-served basis. The quota is maximum 4 riders per age class for each country.

Registration can only be done through the official website and it will open soon. Make sure to sign up to our newsletter and receive a notification when the registration is open!
